Caiafa & Company, LLC is a certified public accounting firm in Hamden and is led by Paul A. Caiafa, as Managing Member. Our professional and administrative staff provides a broad range of tax and accounting services, including tax preparation, business tax planning, business accounting, tax resolution matters, and more, for clients throughout Branford, Milford, New Haven, and the surrounding communities. Paul launched Caiafa & Company, LLC in June 2017 after having served as Managing Member of CPA Tax Solutions, LLC since 2012, and previously with Solakian, Caiafa & Company, LLC and KPMG. The Firm has extensive tax and business experience serving clients in such industries as distribution, manufacturing, construction and service professionals. Paul Caiafa is founder and Managing Member of Caiafa & Company, LLC and has over 40 years of general public accounting experience, which includes Managing Member of CPA Tax Solutions, LLC, 20 years as co-founder of Solakian, Caiafa & Company, CPAs, LLC, and 10 years with the international accounting firm of KPMG.

Paul has extensive experience serving closely-held, owner-managed companies in such industries as manufacturing, distribution, real estate and personal service businesses.

Paul has considerable experience handling the financial, income, elder care and estate tax planning demands of high-wealth individuals.

Laura is an Enrolled Agent with 18 years of tax preparation experience and taxpayer representation before the IRS. She regularly services clients with tax planning issues and works with small business clients to assist with their accounting and tax needs. She is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. She has 10+ years' experience in Project Management and is a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). Laura has a Bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University and Masters of Business Administration from Southern Connecticut State University. She is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the CT Society of Enrolled Agents, the CT Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Project Management Institute. She serves as a board member of the Connecticut Society of Enrolled Agents and is the acting Treasurer of a networking group, Business Builders. In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her wife, Marissa, and their sons, Vincent and Roman. She also coaches Freshmen volleyball at Sacred Heart Academy.

He graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After graduating, Domenic gained accounting experience in multiple industries such as manufacturing, non-profits, and the service industry. During his free time, Domenic enjoys going to see live music and playing drums.
